Are they eating my corals?!

Does anyone here know if hermits eat corals?? If you see the pics, I have one hermit chilling inside the toadstool, another in my birdsnest and some others bugging my aussie lord.

No, I don’t believe so. They are probably just trying to find algae to eat.

I've never understood why hermits perch. But I always laugh when the do. Maybe they think they are being protected by the coral?

Perching? Lol I never knew they can do that! Today makes me a brand new owner of 100 little blue legged hermits! They are so entertaining.

Thats why I laugh. When they sit up on sticks like they were parrots. We can only guess why they do it.

Larger hermits may eat coral. I don't keep them because they kill smalls and other things.

Small blue guys are just fun to have around.
