i left for a week and half long vacation. came back and the only coral not doing so hot were my red orange yumas. On top of that i decided to frag the plug and super glue them to a rock. Do you think they're super stressed or melting? I have not auto top off but my salinity only fluctuated from .025 to .027. I brought it back down with some fresh to .026.

i've seen ric's shrink down to next to nothing... In my opinion you're okay. probably just stressed from the salinity increase

I believe when they melt they will bleach out then melt away atleast mine are doing so now I bought from a LFS and I think they just stressed out too many changes in one day for mine

They look fine to me. I think you'll be alright. The mouth is the key area that shows stress. Your mouths look slightly gaped but they are not bad at all imo

+1 AC leave them alone !! they do not like to be moved trust me I just about lost my prize yuma they can take allot but just leave them for now give them a week or two

What type of lighting are they under? They look fine as far as health, usually when they start to melt the mouth will open and not close and you will see an increase of slime either around the foot or coming from the mouth. When they were on the plug were they lower in the tank? Yumas are sensitive to lighting changes and will melt at a drop of a hat if the change is drastic. If they are not low move them to the lowest spot in your tank....

yea they were low an i moved them up 3 inches im running 2 36w PCs one actinic and one 50/50 so i doubt they're getting too much light either way. Actually today one of them opened back up to original form. Just waiting on the others. These seem to be pretty hardy. I had a hermit crab tear through the mouth of one of them and it fully recovered.

One time I saw a bristle worm nearly totally inside a yuma, I don't think he was just looking around!!! The yuma was stressed but recovered

Yea I doubt it is getting to much light as well with PCs......Moving them up might have been a good idea.....Keep us updated on there condition.
