Are they ready to take off?

Hello and I have 4 frags of Zoas and I was wondering if they are ready to be taken off the plug?

If you plan to remove them from the plug then generally the sooner the better. Just gets more difficult/damaging the more they grow onto it.

Why would you want to remove them? If you want them on the rock, then just leave them like that.

I would yes. If they are sticking up out of rockwork and are going to look really odd even after fully covered then i may cut the stems off/etc and glue the plug in a way that looks more natural once they grow in.
