I'm doing a saltwater mixing station and I'm tempted to do Threaded Bulkead -> Threaded Nipple -> Threaded union w/ ball valve. The hope is to be able to deal with the bulkhead and valve without needing to cut and replace things.
Are screwing/unscrewing theaded nipples a headache to deal with, or do they work well? Is it worth going SCH80 bulkheads to avoid over tightening the nipple? Do the threaded nipples have reverse threads on each half, or is it the same direction?
