Are two Hydra 26HD lights enough for my tank?

I have two hydra 26hd over my ~100gallon tank. Dimensions of 32 wide 24 deep 30 tall. I feel I'm struggling with getting the right intensity. Does anyone have any suggestions for settings or % of power to use over my size tank?

What do have for peak and what is the photoperiod?

I have 2 over a 40B, roughly 36x18x18 and I could probably catch my water on fire. I have them on a 1 hour ramp up and down maxing to about 40% blue 15% white and 5% red and green from 11am to 10pm. Honestly I struggle to find a good balance for a mixed reef.

How high above the tank Coastie?


For yourself and the OP, my preference has been to run a 6-8 hr peak. (Par is cumulative kinda , daily light integer ), so a higher par , run shorter , a lower par run longer.

A longer run time with high par may, create photoinibitin and shut down the process. It may not bleach with higher nutints but it may not like it for growth.
