Christmas wrasses are reef safe IMO. Don’t mess with corals, but big ones sometimes eat small ornamental inverts (something like a sexy shrimp could be in danger).

Wrasses have pluses and minuses, sometimes even the same feature can be both.

My six line wrasse eats some of the live stuff I'd rather not have in my tank, like flatworms. That's great. And my tank has some small white feather dusters that he doesn't bother. That's also great. So I just got a nice big feather duster and what does the wrasse do? Eats it on the 2nd day in the tank!
