So i login on reef central............i post one thread item after i have 53 posts..........I joined in february.........after 7-8 months joining i finally reached the 50 posts to sell.........I started on RC as this was referred to me before r2r.........I joined when i decided to do the full on reefing with corals to gather information on how to setup a successful tank and look for information with problems that other reefers were having that were the same as mine like alkalinity problems, algae etc..............and so they ban me from selling because they think im commecial? is this right or am i just overthinking this? i didnt acquire 50 posts in just 1 month or 2 and just started making posts......i just think its unfair and somewhat ridiculous......blah:crossedlips:

so, they just banned you? No email w/ an explanation?

Lots of people post here like they're being picked on and Ive found out more than once that there was more to the story than was being shared...

no they sent me an email banning me in the selling forum..........because they believed i was "commercial" because i accumulated 50 posts........maybe half in the selling forum because i use to buy alot of stuff from RC sellers

Since you accumulated 50 posts, most of your posts/threads have been in the Selling Forum. Reef Central is a site dedicated to the exchange of information and the occasional sales thread is a perk to our membership. Unfortunately, your usage of Reef Central looks to be for commerce and because of this, you are no longer allowed to sell items in the Selling Forums or Club Forums.

i mean yea half of my posts were in the selling forum cause i did buy majority of stuff in my tank through reefers...........but the other half were from random general discussion threads.............and this is after 7-8 months to get me to 50 posts.......i wish they put that to consideration at least.........but i wrote him back seeing if he can overturn it or put me in contact with someone who can help me with the situation.
