Are you ramping down your lamps?

Could be just me but I feel ramping down my lamp is confusing or stressing some of my shrooms.
Recently changed my 135 watt reef radiance black box out to the Reef Breeders Photon v2+.
Never had ramp up or ramp down just turned blues on 2 hours earlier than whites and shut whites off 2 hours earlier than blues. Simple and never seen them stress.
Posted to soon... Anyhow

Now I have my V2+ ramping up and down but it's the ramp down that is stressing my OG in particular.

Not sure if it was the change in lighting or if I'm ramping down to soon or hard but how are you running your lamps?

Ramp up or down and how much intensity?

Could it be the intensity ? Have you checked par with a meter, it could be that the photon is outputting a lot more par and burning them?

No par meter yet I'm on wait list.

I set it up lower intensity than brs investigates review and recommended settings.

They dont mind the ramp up.
It's the ramp down that's screwing it up.
Maybe tricking them into night time and ramp down is too drastic?

Should have par meter within the next week.

Like I said I set it up using the brs recommended settings but a little less intensity until I can get it dialed.

Everything is good on ramp up and thruought the day and then ramp down hits and my OG stresses and closes up like its light out.

Par seems to be fine until then.

@randyBRS can you shed a little light here or share some wisdom on anything you have seen during your experiments?

Gut feeling is telling me put back on same lights off schedule they where on before I changed the lamp.
My OG has been my most tolerant light intensive shroom to date.
Dont want to just keep changing things up until I know what's going on here.

Any and all input welcome please.

Yeah so it's not only the OG acting wierd.
Actually spit guts earlier...

My Sunkist and Reverse Maui aren't digging the ramp down either!
