My RBTA hasnt moved for a year. After a GHA scrub down a month or 2 ago, a red montipora on a rock was placed closer to his area. The darn thing seemd to move out of its usual spot to get closer to the coral and sting an entire side for no reason. Thought maybe it was just a change in flow bc the rockwork changed, moved the monti, nem went back. Yesterday moved a frag of a bubble coral also closer to the nems area. Not in its space, but closer than other coral. It moved again just to sting it. Moved the bubble away and nem went back to its usual space. Is this normal? How does it even know its there if it's not in touching distance unless it moves?

There movement is completely random in my experience. I have around 8 in my tank and they all move around pretty frequently
