Man i do miss this coral. I had two dif sets of em. One melted away and the other I lost on my way out of the hobby about 7 months ago. Whenever I go home ill post some pics so I can bring back my memories.

Im also starting a new tank soon and Id love for this to be my only Paly in my tank. Thats how impressive these are in person in the tank.

Where do you guys place them. I have mine in low light and they don't look look as nice as Marvin's old ones. Mine are super bright, but the center is filled in more.

I have a rock with all four of these on it. I can't wait till it fills in and grows out.

I can confirm this as I acquired 1-2 polyps of Armageddons from Pure Captive a/k/a The Living Reef (I believe that was their name) here in Florida back around 2004-2005.

We had had them for over 4 years until our orange spot rabbit took a liking to them. They were grown out from 2 polyps to over 700 polyps. We were then wholesaling them out to Cali a couple of years ago. Never had a melting issue.

One of our customers still has a bunch growing from our original colony. So one day we will get them back.

Your telling me. I'm going to follow up with my customer that had some growing out. We lost the last few polyps to either a fish or a crab that munched on them.
