Armor of God ?

I acclimated and put in 4 polyps of AOG's in my tank 4 days ago.

The first day they were open and happy.

They have since been closed up and have not opened. They came from 125 Halides and my tank has 250 halides 20K bulbs.

I started them out on the bottom of the tank as usual.

They do not seem to be melting away, but they arent opening either.

My levels:

Ammonia, Trite, Trate, Phosphate: 0
PH 8.3
Temp 77
Calcium 425
DkH: 9

They are under light flow.

Any suggestions????????????

Probably just getting use to your tank...were they shipped?

A pic would help, but it sounds like they're just adjusting. All your params are spot on and you did the right thing by starting them low in the tank to adjust for the lighting difference.

i've had plenty of zoas/paly's open up after a week of putting them in my tank. i'd just keep them in low light and good flow and eventually they'll open up.

From the looks of them in the pic they'll be just fine. Did you dip them before you put them in the tank? Sometimes that can keep them closed a bit longer than usual. I don't see any white spots on them that would indicate zoa pox, so I'd say they're adjusting to their new home.

Ok, so I looked at my AOG's last night after the lights were off for a few hours.

I noticed that some pods were crawling all over the closed up zoas. I did not notice them on my other zoos next to it.

Are the pods eating the dying flesh of the zoa?

Two polyps have only slightly opened up so I can see the orange inside. I'm talking like the size of a pinhead or less. Not sure if they are opening or melting away.
