Hi, we have a very cool arrow crab who just moulted and reappeared bigger and better. His three missing legs came back fully just like that. We like him/her/them and he does a lot of cleaning but are wondering if we have restricted our clean up crew by having a bit of a predator in the tank. Any suggestions for other CUC members that he wouldn’t try to eat? (So far so good with the star asters snails). 32 biocube is the environment.

They generally hunt bristleworms but being it’s a crab - exercise caution

I would go for something like a large hermit crab and dwarf ceriths. I loved my arrow crab and enjoyed watching him grab at the water for food right up to the day I took him back to the LFS for ripping my damsel to shreds on night. It was horrific.

Well maybe ours is the reason for our mysterious clownfish death. Perhaps we may do the same. Too bad he’s so entertaining!
