I pulled the trigger and purchased and Artfully Acrylic lid for my Fluval M90 AIO. Now, before I get into the details I would like to point out that the product I received was of great quality. The problem is that it was not built to the specs I requested.
I ordered a screen lid for the Fluval M90 series with a cutout for an apex auto feeder. For those of you unfamiliar with the M90, it is an AIO, and therefore has a false back wall for the filtration compartments. I requested that a cutout be made in the back right corner for an Apex Autofeeder. That was done correctly and fit very well. I also requested that the screen be built to only cover the display section of the tank, and specifically requested that the screen top NOT cover the filtration compartment. I already had an acrylic lid made for the filtration portion of the tank, and intended to have the tank but right up against the wall. The plan was to mount the Apex Autofeeder to the filtration wall, which would allow the tank to fit right up to the wall. Since the screen top was built to cover the entire tank my only option for the Auto Feeder would be to place it on the rear wall of the tank; this obviously wont work since the tank sits about 1.5" off the wall.
I contacted their customer support explaining the situation, and provided photos to demonstrate. I sent them an email on May 11, but never received a response.
Again the product I received was of great quality, just not built to the right specifications.
