The ASD Birthday Cake Acro has been out for awhile now. How is it growing and coloring up in your tank?

I have grown a few “cake” acros from them and each was really nice. Don’t have this though I would love to see some pics.

Maybe we can bring this back and now people will post some updates. I picked up a few acros from their current labor day sale yesterday. A couple as I’m $1000 worth and I’m hoping for great success

I am not good at photos, but here are mine. First pic is May 1st when I got them. Second pic takes in mid August is of the Green Polyp Cake. It is developing pink tips and is encrusting nicely. Third pic is the Red Polyp Cake. It has almost doubled in size and starting its vertical growth. Color has not been a good as I would like. I really thought this one would be the best of the 2. Still early days and hoping with the vertical growth I will start to see more color.

Hi , I don't think its a ssc as I have several variants of them it was very flouro and the growth form is totally different it was suggested that it may be a birthday cake that's why I asked.thanks Bill

What's up man. I would say that it is a shortcake, or some variant. but I haven't seen many birthday cakes so I could definitely be wrong lol. Either way it's a nice one!

Looks like "Greg Hillers aquadelight" believed to be nasuta, but microclados and nasuta are hard to distinguish from one another sometimes.

What size is that plug? My two are both slow growers. At least the few months I’ve had it it’s not done much but cover the frag no upward growth.

Have mine for a year now. It was a nub when I got it.
