ASD HYPERCANDY and CAR comparison shots...

I'd like to start out by writing about how amazing AquaSD is to work with. Not only do they have top notch coral, but they're healthy. Nearly all of the items I have ordered from Will over at ASD have arrived already opened up and ready for feeding. By no stretch of the imagination are their products, customer service, shipping, pricing and live sales anything less than A++ in my book.

That being said, here is a comparison shot between the Hypercandy and my personal CARs. The Hypercandy is direct from AquaSD and verified to be so by Will himself a few days ago. The CARs are from a source that is from a source that once knew a guy that had a source.

None the less, here they are.

I'm posting the pictures. You can draw your own conclusions. Im waiting til Saturday to get the CAO and put it next to both of them. Then ill make my conclusion.

I'll go ahead and say it..... They look the same to me. They are healthy and they are beautiful....... Hoping it's just the lighting in the pic.

I bought mine knowing all the back stories of the CAR/CAO/Bowser/morph this/morph that. I didn't care. I wanted them. And they look good in my tank and that's all I care.

And yeah, I will buy from ASD every chance I get.

Nice way to approach this thread.

Unfortunately, there are so many so-called CAR palys that don't quite live up to the label, so it's a coral that doesn't have the same name-recognition that it used to carry. Because not all "CAR" palys are equal, I can see how one would want to relabel something to distinguish it from the less appealing varieties.

Looking forward to more comparisons, though.

Nice corals, IMO the hyper candy looks more refined and has more color, the difference seams to be in the skirts and the skirt transition, also where the red meets the green is a well defined circle. Who knows if itll morph some more in tour tank, either way way great score

You are seeing something I'm not.
They look the same to me.
