Looking good! Following along. Cant wait to see how the build comes out. Your last tank was beautiful this one should be a stunner as well.

Thanks Rhoads, appreciate it!

Great work, love the remodeling you've done. Top notch.

Thanks for the kind words!

Beautiful tank, I am looking at a similar tank from Miracles just a little smaller. if you wouldn't mind posting some additional pictures closer up of the tank to show the build quality I would greatly appreciate it. You also have a beautiful house, the remodeling looks great so far and I love those floors.

Thanks Seldon - The wood floors compliment makes me happy, I mean I did get like 40 different samples. Anyways I dont think I have any good close up shots but will take some next time I go to the house.

The tank is definitely build well, Sure there is some areas where silicone work could be cleaner but I am adding a canopy so dont need the eurobrace seams to be perfect. The vertical seams I can't find any issues with it. I am sure once its filled I'll have a better idea but honestly unless it leaks I am a happy customer and will be ordering future tanks from Miracle

I did reinforce the floors. The front and back of the tank sit on 2 joist so I just added 4 (1X12) spanning 12 feet to the 2 surrounding house beams. Since I had a gas main I just added support to the next joist. Glad I didnt need to add any post jacks.

Does anyone have any suggestion where I can get a large sheet of starboard 1/4" 4'X8' sheet that close to NJ? A lot of the places are in Florida and can't justifiy the freight price. I may also consider having 2 pieces with a seem given my luck I'll probably wont get it in in one piece and end up cutting it.

Would this help?

Thanks. I will look into this

As far as the tank nothing major just finally added a sink and got 150+ Lbs of aged Liverock (fiji and Marshal islands). Excited I found clean LR from a local reefer. He said its around 150LB but honestly I know what 50LB feels like I had 3 large salt buckets full, and 2 x 18 gallon containers full. I couldnt fit all in my 32 gallon bucket so saved show pieces and will bleach and use in my display.

Best part pest free rock! Not Vermids and No aiptasia - The rock in this picture will go in my sump and some for a QT tank.
