Here is a question you SHOULD NOT ASK the LFS if they are not so reputable: How do you keep your livestock? This answer has been IME vague and often unexplained because they DONT KEEP THE CORALS, they get em and sell em right away!!!
THey may even call the thing by the wrong name.

Which small fish (preferable hermaphrodite so two random individuals will be able to reproduce), shrimp, crabs or other invertebrates will spawn often in reef refugiums to provide a constant supply of gametes and larvae to feed a display tank. The display would be a 75 gallon dominated by Christmas Tree Worms but also containing LPS and NPS Corals as well as other filter feeding invertebrates. Multiple small tanks would house the various breeding groups separately above the display (behind a wall) to gravity feed the "plankton" into the display and the refugiums would be dosed with phytoplankton to encourage the multiplication of copepods and amphipods and feed the filter feeders that require phyto.

They leave out water displacement - Extra water volume produced by the sump - do not consider its about the surface area of the rock rather than the weight
