Hey folks, now that the 300 series Gyre has been out for a few months, can anyone offer reviews?

I'm curious too, as I'm torn between getting a set of these, or Nero 5's.

I have a pair of 330’s on my 120 mixed reef. I am running them on the lunar tidal cycle. I love the flow of the gyre to begin with and thes sure push water. The difference I see in my tank is that the gyres have a nice wide flow and the mp10’s I run on the back bottom of the tank are very concentrated half way across the tank. In fact any power head I have used in their tank before getting the gyres we’re the same. Starts out narrow and strong and then opens up and fades.
The 330’s are very quiet as a plus.

The previous series had a Y cable for attaching an 12v power source as a battery backup. However I couldn't see this in the new 300 series . Does it have a backup power option?
