This is for the more experienced aquarists who answer questions from beginners:

Tell me, for a future article, what are some questions from beginners that you hear over and over and over and over?

Thank you,

Seawitch

Do I need a skimmer?
How big and how often to do water changes?
Do I have to do water changes
How many fish can I have?
Why is my plumbing noisy
How do I size my return pump
Do I need a sump

What is the best salt?
What is this (GHA) and how do I get rid of it?
How do I get my clown fish to host my nem?
Where is all the phosphate (or nitrate) coming from in my tank?
What led's do I need to keep corals?
Why do I need an r/o, or rodi water filter?
Can I cycle my tank with beach sand?

One other thing I'd like to add is not so much the question asked, but how it's asked.

If I see a giant roll on sentence or paragraph, I just might skip it or come back later when I have more time.

I find that if you hit your question as short and sweet as you can, it gets people talking, and you can keep asking details as you go.
You'll probably get a lot more replies and opinions, and it will probably keep your post active on front page until your issue is resolved.

Just saying I am brand new at this and every single question on here is going through my mind right now! PLEASE WRITE THIS ARTICLE!

LOL. I'm writing as fast as I can. A lot of this information is already here, but it's not always easy to find. So, I'll try to organize stuff and make some of this information stickies if I can find it, and the rest I'll write up summaries. You're welcome to message me anytime if there are specific ideas for articles that you'd like to suggest.

Live rock, dry rock, mined rock, how to clean. Live sand, dry sand and should I rinse my sand, does it hurt to rinse live sand.

Nice to have the site organized by topic. It's gonna take one heck of a Dewey decimal system to keep this stuff all in order.

I just saw another asking a question about:
"Salt mixing."
Which also has a corollary:
"What brand of salt is Best?"
So you have your work cut out, glad to see your results! :)
(I think you should tie some of this info with links back to the site sponsors who supply all this stuff for our hobby!)
