asking for opions

Going to be starting a 75 gallon FO tank. I have a tentative stocking list and would like some feedback. I
have done lots of research and think what I will list will work.

2 clowns,
1 royal grammy
3 bengi cardinals
3 PJ cardinals
1 foxface lo
2 hi fin banded gobies
1 chalk bass

I will be running a 30 gallon sump.
This tank is going to be a feature in our home. It is going to be built into a wall in the home. Have some work left to do but the plans are almost all done.

Sounds like a great plan just be carefull and don't overfeed and you should be fine.

If its just a FO tank, we'll just get him to carbon dose, and he'll have some really fat cats swimming around. :xd:

Good list ya got there. Ever thought of a Magnificant Foxface instead of the normal ones everyone sees?

It is going to be a salt water FO tank. I have done lots of research and the only one that will work is the foxface lo. The magnificent foxface requires a 125 or larger tank so don't want to push it.

go with a one spot foxface. a bit smaller than the lo. the cardinals may fight until there is only one. your going fo with no live rock? my fox face picks at the rocks all day. I think fowlr is the way to go.

My goal is to put 75 lbs of live rock, use argomax sand. I have three benja cardinals and 3 PJ cardinals now in a 36 gallon bow front and they all swim together all over the tank. When I started a year ago my mentor told me to put odd numbers of these fish in at once. I have had no aggression from any of them. They reside with a clown, 2 blue green chromis, a urchin and a star fish. Love the PJs, they look so nice swimming together.

So you are building into a wall. Will you have a mechanical room behind the tank? My only regret is I put all my filtration behind a wall, but it is under a stairway, and I wish I had more space. So my suggestion is to give yourself lots of space behind the tank/wall.
