Asm g3 too big for tank?

I have a asm g3 skimmer sitting around I’m getting ready to set up a 75 gallon tank do you guys think this is going to be too big for this tank? I can buy a new one but if this might work without causing me problems I would like to use it. If I do have to buy a new skimmer I was looking at the bubble magnus curve 5 elite what’s your guys opinion on that skimmer? Any other skimmers you guys think might be better let me know I will check them out. Thanks for the helping

I ran a G4 on a 90 for a while and it performed well. G3 on a 75 would be fine. It’s a good skimmer.

I am going to purchase a sump depending on what skimmer I use I just don’t want to buy a big sump to house the asm and have to turn around and buy a new skimmer because it’s too big for my tank when I can buy a smaller sump and new skimmer for the same price
