Just pulled it out of my sump. Had it for years. Here's the deal. I top off with kalk so every 6 months I pull the pump and clean the impeller. Evey 12 months I buy a new impeller. Every 24 months I buy a whole new pump. The sedras just can't take the kalk build up. The pump is 6 months old and I pulled out the impeller to clean it but then the pump wouldn't start back up without the endcaps on the impeller. Been running it that way for a month with no effect to skimmate production.
This was a leftover from when I had a 400 gallon system. I've been meaning to get a smaller one and a Simplicity popped up at the right price. I'm listing for $20 because I want it gone and don't want to clean it. As is in the photo. Located in 18661.
