ASM Skimmer Question

I am running a ASM skimmer and just a few days ago it started to foam out of the sides and top of the cup. I have adjusted the outlet tube with no change. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you changed the water level in the sump recently?

Have you used any different foods, chemicals or additives recently?

Any kind of pollutants you can think of??

Areoles, candles, air freshener ??

Thank you for the reply.
The water level in the sump has remained consistent.
It is a new tank only 6 weeks old I started to add livestock about a 2 weeks ago so o just started feeding. I feed mysis and nori.
I used the Redsea Reef Mature Program for the he first 22 days, now I am just dosing NOPOX and Coraline gro.

The only foreign pollutant that I can think of is I wash my filter socks in the washer machine but I wash those on a sanitary cycle for 3 hours.

Can you adjust the air intake??

What type of mysis?? Certain brands make my skimmer act goofy.

How long has the skimmer been running in your system??

Did you just recently start dosing NOPOX?

It's more than likely something very simple and nothing to be overly concerned about but if you are concerned about a possible pollutant then I'd suggest running carbon.

Did this happen right after a filter sock change ?? Right after dosing anything? Right after feeding?

If you can adjust the air then I'd suggest closing it off a little to get it to settle down.

The water level in the sump is too high. It is hard to accurately tell, I would guess the water level should be lowered 2-4" or somehow put something under the skimmer and get it higher

Skimmer has been running since day one, about 5 weeks.
Did you just recently start dosing NOPOX?
I started dosing NOPOX on day two of the cycle.
It's more than likely something very simple and nothing to be overly concerned about but if you are concerned about a possible pollutant then I'd suggest running carbon. I use a carbon pad in the sump baffle that the water runs through. I have been thinking about a carbon reactor.

My old Euro Reef skimmer would do that when the air holes in the skimmer cup lid got clogged. Foam would come out from under the lid in the sides like in your picture.
