Is anyone familiar with the new style AI 32 HD Light with the 8' fixed cord, which is now hard wired into the lighting unit (the cord comes straight out of the light and can’t be removed). We are to take that cord and run it through the channel on length of the horizontal arm, make a right turn and run it though the vertical channel. Our problem is that the channel was made for the old power supply system, and is much narrower than the new power cord. We are concerned that we will damage the light's power cord, and also not be able to make the right angle bend to continue down the vertical channel. We are desperate to finish the hardware installation so we can put water in our brand spanking new 70.2 Reef Plus, and start the cycle.
Has anyone encountered this, and what have you done? We've reached out to AI (they may respond to us on Monday), and Waterbox does not have this set up in house to ceck it out for us! We are in our mid-seventies and don't want to die before we can put fish and inverts into our tank!!!

I just used the wire clip things. I did not want to break the wire. Can barley see the wire.

Thank you. We are really disgusted with how poor this product is. To have to use wire tires to hold the power cord to the mountings brackets is horrible, cheap design. The installation hardware, screws, nuts, bolts and Allen wrench are flimsy, the instructions don't match, and there's no support - add to this the cost? I am really disappointed.
