Hi All,

I set up two Petri dish tanks during CoVid and ordered some KP Aquatics live rock. Largely these tanks are just to see what comes out of the rock :)
Any identification or confirmation of my ID's is appreciated:

Snails:
  1. Baby Astrea Snail? (15x Lens)

  2. Baby Nessarius Snail?

  3. Possible Whelk - Eats algae:

  4. Another Possible Whelk (Image 2 has a keyhole limpet in it and the back of the same snail):

Random
  1. Tunicate - several colonies of these, just curious if anyone knows what species.

I completely recommend it. It's so cool :)

I had an extra 10 and a Fluval EVO5. My nephews and nieces came back from vacation with random creatures that I tossed in them.

We were having so much fun I placed an order with Tampa Bay Aquatics and picked up a used Biocube. Sadly, that order is on hold due to unforeseen circumstances :( It came with some minimal live rock and corals that got moved into the Petri Dishes (hence the hair algae).

After running for 3 days the front right side cracked! Guess I have to find something to put my Tampa Bay order in :(

Love that idea! I have spare 10 gallon and may do the same. I upgraded my tank and used all dry rock and I miss all the life and random critters.
That's honestly my favorite part. I was going to combine into

 looking aquarium ;)

Awesome idea! I have a move coming up, but I have a extra tank and I really want to use live rock for the second 125 I am planning on setting up after the move.

Love this idea, by the way the algae on the snail may be Rhodopeltis sp
