Cant find much on thier life cycle, I got some corals in the QT and so far flatworms and asterinas came off the dips/qt walking around. How long should I be qting these for the life cycle to go through and die off?
Corals are a torch, duncan and a palythoa.

Not sure on the lifecycle of these pest myself. The asterina stars are easy to pick off by hand. That's what I would do.Flatworms on the other hand can take months to deal with properly. Are you able to get a good photograph of the worms?

+1 what type of fw are we dealing with?

Looked like red planria. Here is a pic incase I misidentified. The star survived the dip and was crawling around the tank a couple days later. Took it out when I saw though.

Look like a Convolutriloba sp.

Convolutriloba is red planria, they aren't necessarily destructive, but I got a predator tank (limited on fish that will eat em) so they would multiply like crazy and thats where it gets dangerous. Just did another dip today with nothing coming out, not sure how long to qt them for eggs.

Most reproduce by fission...they tear apart. Cant find a definative answer on eggs. My suggestion at least 4 to 6 weeks.
