Kinda up to you. I have a lot in my tank and never had any issues but I do suck them out as I see them while doing water changes.

They are Asterina starfish. Some types will eat coral, most will not. They reproduce by dropping legs. If you see them in your sump, then you probably already have them in your display tank. I consider them a member of my CUC and only remove them if they happen to be on the glass during water changes.

I just leave them be I figure it's just part of the Eco-system. I've never had any problems and they seem to come and go.

Remove them. They can potentially cause problems. They decide to get a taste for coral and then you have an overpopulation, then what? If you have the chance to kill them off, do it. Anyone saying to leave them obviously hasn't had an experience where they are eating their corals!

I have them and remove whenever I can. I've seen them eating SPS and Zoas, its hard to tell which will do this and which will not so rather than be sorry I remove them when I can.
