Asterina stars..

I have a large population of these suckers. I want to get a harlequin to deal with those stars but are they compatible with inverts such as snails, hermits, urchins, peppermint shrimp, and other fish in general?

Unless the other invert is big enough to eat the harlequin, yes - the harlequin is not a threat to anything but relatively fast moving sea stars.

That said, don't expect the "asterinas" (actually Aquilonastras) to last long with a harlequin shrimp.
