Astrea Snail Pest?

Looking for some help with one of my astrea snails as there is a white worm like growth on the shell, also noticed this particular snail was shooting some milky substance into the water. TIA

maybe a nem growing on its shell? thats either slime or some other juice from either of them

I see a tube worm, not sure what the fuzzy thing is, maybe a sponge?
I’ve read that the milky stuff is sperm being sent into the water, as snails are fertilized in the water column.

Ok thanks, should I try to remove it and if so how?

I hope you are right, it's a new tank and picked this guy up from the LFS...I will give them a call tomorrow to see if they can confirm
