The Green Star Polyps are nearly impossible to kill. Just don’t attach them to your main rockwork!

Unless you know your actual parameter numbers, start with :
Candy cane coral
GSP
xenia
mushroom
leather or toadstool coral

I see what could be a piece of cabbage leather coral at the top of the 3rd pic. Wouldn't be bad choice either imo.

… Dang, seriously they’re that hard to kill?
Must be a pro or something.
It’s not new or anything and actually the tank can hold LPS and SPS growth quite happily.

Also, I see what appears to be a favia in the first photo which is also a good starting coral and was one of my first corals along with Duncan and Torch colonies.

Went with GSP and Florida type mushroom, those are my fav. They have acclimated well, look like they are happy with the two orphek. I am now rethinking the GSPplacement, any recommendations

Please, rearange a bit your rock, wall is not great option regarding flow or coral placement....

I have mine on the back wall where it was doing great for a good three or so months then recently went into decline.

The plan is to put about 2/3 of that in the sump yet to be built, and create the nsa sort of look for the aesthetic but keep the rock in the system for filtering. But ya it does not look great. Lol

Nowhere near 75 lb of live rock in the display but it’ll look neat and still have the 1:1 for rock to gallon requirements plus a lot of extra

Why?

It is possible to create nsa, and still have plenty of room for fish to swim, and plenty of cracks, holes, caves etc for fish to hide....
