Tank is being overrun with what i think is dinos and also this brown looking macro type of algae. Im losing corals and just lost my shrimp. What is this and what do i need to do? I bought a uv light the other day to help with the dinos. IMG_7594.jpeg

What is your maintenance schedule like? More info and white light pics of tank will solicit better advice.

I have a 40g IM fusion. I do either 5g or 10g water change every 2 weeks. I run carbon, a skimmer, and just added a UV light. I feed a tiny scoop in the morning and then half a cube at night of food. I have a damelfish, blackcap basslet, goby, and a tailspot blenny. I had a cleaner shrimp but he died the other day probably due to the tank condition or failing to molt. I can do some full tank shots when i get home.

Parameters and age of tank?

Fixed this for future reference. Bought an IM uv sterilizer which i run in the back, shut off lights for three days, and started changing out filter floss daily. Corals haven’t completely opened up again yet but i think the worst is over

Thanks for the update! Glad things are getting better.
