Anyone know much about them and whether that would be too undersized for a 200 gallon build? I see a lot of people running really oversized skimmers but I personally don’t like that. Never got a consistent skin.

My tank is 72x22x30. Sump is to be determined but I’m assuming 30 to 50 gallons. Looking for a good right sized skimmer but not one that is rated for 400 gallons. Seems un neccessary to me. Thanks.

I have no knowledge about the Skimmer your asking about but with the second part your going to be fairly close to my water volume and I have the Reef Octopus Regal 250 and love it. It has a DC controlled pump which allows you to adjust water flow and volume for your sized tank. The reason most of us use a over sized Skimmer is for efficiency.
