Hey, on a business trip to Melbourne and took some time out and popped by a local reef shop/café. Amazing to see both the similarities and the extraordinary differences between an Aussie shop and what we have back home.
Lots of the same equipment but one thing I noticed was the attention to detail that they place on informing The specific water conditions in each tank, appears they change and update them on a regular basis. Something local LFS is might want to think about.
The other difference is the cost. However I would much rather pay $45 Australian per head for gorgeous looking torches and surrender the $200 Aussie for a royal Gramma. Wall hammers that actually form a wall…
Other obvious difference is the near absence of SPS frag‘s. Instead here are the choices you have.
and those Copper bands were bigger than my hand.... - handsome blokes
Great and friendly people who really know their elbows from their ankles.
Here on business but headed up to Karns for three days of rest and relaxation. Will update you from there as well.
