Need to replace some bulbs. I was running:

4 blue +
1 coral +
1 purple +

It was a little too blue for me.

Was thinking either:

2 blue +
2 coral +
1 purple +
1 actinic

OR

2 blue +
1 coral +
1 aquablue special
1 purple +
1 actinic

Basically, should I go with 2 coral + OR 1 coral + and 1 aquablue +

TIA!

On my 6 bulb I run 3 blue+, 2 coral+, and a purple+. I'm not a huge fan of the "blue" look and this line up is definitely a little more of a daylight look. I just replaced my bulbs and wanted 4 blue+ and 2 coral+ but they messed up the shipment, so I have the same lineup I used to have.

I suggest go as blue as you can go, and work back. I started with 6 blue plus, and 2 coral plus. The coral plus are pretty blue themselves, IMO. I started with the plan of adding different bulbs, and ended up enjoying it, so never switched. Give the bulbs a month or so to break in for true colors as well.

For six - I'd do 3x B+, 1x C+, 1x Actinic, 1x Aquablue Plus. That would still be pretty blue, but it would have a good spectrum spread. I'm not a huge fan of the P+.

I only have a 4 bulb I'm running 3 blue 1coral. Only have them a month best I can tell the coral seems happy happy.
