Anyone here have any experience running these two bulbs in the same fixture with actinic and 10k daylight? Any thoughts on how it would look?

I run them in my ati fixture. What color temp are you looking for? For me I run 5 blue plus, 2 aquablue special and one purple plus. Blue plus is a 15k bulb so it's blue but not windex blue

I think I'm looking for more of like a blue or purple, not sure on the numbers.. and I'd also like my reds and pinks to show color better

The blue+ tht I replaced one of the 10k daylights with really helped alot, as far as not looking so white

That should look fine, but really get a few of each and experiment, not sure what fixture u have, I find that a few hours of whiter light makes things grow allot faster, then switch to a more blue look for pop and don't forget whiter light can produce algae faster, also too much of red/purple helps grow algae too, my opinion!!

I ran 2 blue + a purple + and a coral+ for awhile , it is really blue and also run a LED strip with my T5's and it was real blue , I changed one of my blue+'s for a true Atinic and really like the look of that.

How about a blue+, coral+, purple+, and actinic? Or 10k daylight in place of actinic, or can coral+ be used as a "daylight" bulb?

That is what I run with my current USA led and like the look and everything seems happy. As of now running 4 bulb T5 with ATI blue+ , Coral + , Purple+ , True Atinic and my LED's

The purple + adds more reddish light than anything. Coral+ is sometimes unnecessary because it's a blend of blue+/purple+/actinic, I believe, and will come off as pinkish with other bulbs, more meant for stand alone if you only have a few bulbs
. If you want more a more white look aqua blue special is your choice. Purple and blue when combined gives you a heavy blue but can appear almost white to the eye.
Here's my 8 bulb with only 1 blue + and 1 purple +.

Good lookin tank! I just order another blue+ and a purple plus last night. They will be running with a blue+ and either actinic or 10k

I really like coral+ a lot. Goes to show how much people's tastes are different. I am not a big fan of blue+ because it can look too much like Windex. Very different than a nice RB LED look.

With a 6 bulb and 2 blue LED strips, I was running 3 CP, 2 BP, 1 PP. the LEDs were providing plenty of nice clean blue.
