Hello, everyone. I have a question about my lighting. I normally run this color combination on my 6 bulbs ATI, 3 Coral Plus and 3 Blue Plus bulbs. I want a bit bluer color so going to put my 8 bulb fixture back on the tank with the same combination as mentioned above. Would adding two ATI True Atenics to complete the combination add more blue to the tank?

Thanks.

Swapping out some of the coral+ to blue+ would do it. Actinic I feel is a much needed bulb but it won't add a ton of perceived visual color you can see but will do wonders for your coral colors after a few months cooking under it. You could also add an actinic bar as well if you want it more blue. Reefbrite is pretty popular and I'm a big fan of the SBREEF actinic bar.

Thank you. I was considering the option of the Actinic t5 with two SBREEF, thank you for validating my amateur conclusion! :-)

I'm buying new bulbs for my 6 bulb ATI fixture. I'm going with 3 Blue Plus, 2 Coral Plus and one Actinic.

The Actinic and one Blue plus are on one channel, and 2 Blue + and 2 Coral Plus on the other. The first channel starts the day and ends the day.

I'd consider a Reef bright LED strip but it's too expensive for my taste.
