ATI bulbs

Need to purchase a set of ATI builds. They will be going in an Aquatic life hybrid fixture so I need 4 bulbs. What would you use for growth and good color?

It will depend primarily on what you are supplimenting with and how "blue" of light you want to see. Typically a recommendation of 3 Blue + and one Coral + would suffice. If you like less blue, 2 of each.

I was leaning towards the blue + and Coral +. I have 4 hydra 26’s over the tank now.

If ur used to the leds ur prob want to go with 3 blue+ and 1 coral + you can fine tune the color with ur hydras

The blue + gives a dull washed out look I wouldn' do 3 of them I hated the look when I did. Now I have 2B+ an 2C+ an it' a much better look,clean an crisp , but we all have different eyes with diff likes ....

I'm running 2 blue 2 Actinic with prime hds. Overall spectrum is 18k per seneye.

I'm with you, all blue plus looks washed out. I have a 6 bulb fizture and run 3 blue plus, 2 coral plus and 1 purple plus

I had 3 blue+ and 1 coral+ along with my hydra 26 HDs. Hated it. The blue+ like others have said is dull and has an ugly green hue. Swapped out 2 blue+ for 2 Giesemann actinic blue and couldn't be happier.

The bulbs are suppose to be the equivalent of the blue+, and not their true actinic so don't worry about it being too blue. It's a very crisp bulb without the green hue and washed out look. Together with the remaining blue+ and coral+ bulbs, I think I'm giving my corals a good spectrum to grow under while being very pleasing to my eyes.

I am running 4 blue plus, 1 purple plus, and 1 coral plus in my ati sun power. I have had good growth and like the look of that combo.

I've been running 2 B+ and 2 C+ with 3 Hydras for a year now. Corals seem to like it .Its very bright when the hydras peak, but the hydras are running near 100% then! I only have the C+ on for 6 hrs and the B+ for 10 hrs.

Aesthetically I like the 2 blue+, coral+ and purple+ combo. Perfect module ground between too blue and too white.

Currently running that combo with 3x A360.

Depends on what look you want. I have a 4 bulb ati setup. I like bluer tanks. First, i had 3 ati blue plus, and 1 purple plus. I didnt really like it. The purple plus overwhelmed the blues, imo. Here is what it looked like.

i then swapped out the purple for a true actinic, on recommendation by a member here. Here it is now, i am much happier.
