ATI Carbo EX filter and TUNZE skimmer

Hello , I have TUNZE 9430 skimmer in my sump.
I want to connect it to ATI Carbo EX filter (shown in the attached pictures) .
I don't understand how to connect it, because the air intake tube is connected to the skimmer (shown in the mark on the attached picture)

Anyone have an idea how to do it ?

Run a tube from the port on the top of the CarboEx filter to the air intake port on the skimmer. The skimmer will then draw air through the CarboEx filter.

if I understand you correctly, the air tube will not be connected at all to the skimmer, right ?

I have the same Tunze. It draws air from inside the skimmer chamber. I actually use an air pump to pump through a co2 scrubber and into the ozone port. This will provide the chamber the pump pulls from with scrubbed air.

I reached out to Roger at Tunze and this was the method he suggested.
