I would like feedback from users that have these fixtures. Someone local is selling a fixture with bulbs are a great price and I was wondering if the fixture is worth it. Pros and cons would help.

I have one and love it. I had leds before and loved The sunrise and sunset affect. This light does the same thing. Things l don't like are replacing the bulbs every 8 or 9 months and having to burn new bulbs in. You have to burn new bulbs in for 50 hours on full power before dimming. I bought a used T5 fixture just so I can burn the bulbs in when I get new ones.

Thanks for the feedback. I currently have a 36" AquaticLife 6 bulb over my 75 gallon and need better coverage. What color combination are you using?

No experience with the dimmable fixtures, I prefer the sun power fixtures over the dimmable ones. Like mentioned above, i don't like breaking in new bulbs. And the bulbs don't last as long when they're being dimmed. I have the 6 bulb ATI sunpower using 3 blue plus, 2 coral plus and 1 purple plus.

I would rather get the non dimmable version but the person is selling the fixture and bulbs for $600. Is that a good deal? The bulbs are burned in already.

I only have 4 bulb fixture but I run 2 blue+ 1 coral+ and 1 Aquablue special. Another thing I like about the dimmable fixture is that it only has one plug.

$600 is still pretty high for a used fixture IMO. But really depends on the size and how old the bulbs/fixture are.
