hi, I have just purchased the 3 bottles of ATI essencials but am unsure of how to calculate the dosing.
I bought the 500ml bottles and mixed with r/o in a 5litre container. That’s as far as I have got I’ve read the pdf on how to calculate the dosing but the more I read the more confused I get.
Has anyone any experience that they can help me with.
Am going to be dosing manually for now. And I have been testing the parameters periodically.

18 Aug 2018 8.6
20 Aug 2018. 8.5
23 Aug 2018. 8.2. 420. 1330
27 Aug 2018. 8. 420. 1320

I have soft corels leathers mushrooms zoas etc
Approx 300L aquarium uk.
Not doing anything else at the he moment periodically dodge nopox but phos is under control o honk although I have around 300g of nyos phos x in a reactor with I change around once a month.
I used to use carbon but I’ve taken that out as advised in the ati manual. Which I though was odd but hey who am I to question?.....

You mention that you mixed the bottles with RO water in a 5 liter container. You mixed each bottle in its own 5 liter container, correct? If you mixed them all together in the same 5 liter container, they are mostly worthless now.

Your parameters don't look that low. Which do you want to be higher, and why?

Yes they where mixed independently, they are ok now but they won’t stay that way.

I just started ATI about 2 weeks ago. I dose equal amounts everyday. Mine is a new aquarium, so I started with 5ml of each per 100 liters, for my tank thats 25 ml. I only track Dkh daily and check calcium and magnesium once a week. My Dkh rose over the first few days to 9.5 so I decreased my dose to 15ml, then 13ml and it started to fall. When it hit 8.8 I increased it back to 15ml. My Calcium and magnesium have fallen also into the desired ranges.

Looks like your Dkh is falling at a fast clip. There is a calculator somewhere that calculates consumption and estimates what your dosage should be. Or you could start increasing the dosage a little at a time until it stabilizes where you want. The goal is to get Dkh to be steady over time, so you have to adjust up and down your equal doses until you have Dkh testing relatively the same day after day.

Also, try asking ATI for help. They monitor and reply to this forum here.
