Currently I'm running 2 AI SOL's over my 93 cube but I'm thinking about going back to T-5's. I have nothing against LED's or the AI SOL's I'm just considering going back.

I'd like to go with an ATI Sunpower Dimmable fixture the problem is my tank has a foot print of 30"X30". So the 36" fixture wont' work. The 24" Fixture will be short by 3" on each side. Question is, will it reflect light out enough to get any corals on the "ends"? I'm going to go with the 8 bulb fixture if I do this.

To beat anyone to the punch I don't want to go with a retro kit.

I can't speak to a 24 inch fixture, but i have a 4 foot 6 bulb ati fixture over my 125 tank that measures 4ft x 2ft x 2ft and i personally feel the coverage is actually too much and feel than i could hang my fixture over a 55 inch tank for sure and maybe even a 60 inch tank. the coverage is excellent from front to back and equally as good side to side. how high are you hanging it above the surface?

I have a similar tank 30"x30"x18" and I use a 24" 8x24W ATI SunPower. Lights up the whole tank nicely. I use the outter edges to keep lower light LPS. My tank is mostly SPS and they get plenty of light. HTH
