I'll start of by saying I do not have the wifi version, but the older one with an usb dongle. It has worked completely fine for the last 6 months until last week. It started with the blue leds suddenly turning off for a minute or 2 and then coming back on. That happened once. Today however, the light turned off completely for a minute or so, then came back on. It kept doing that every couple of minutes. It isn't overheating according to the display. I was running my evening schedule as well.

So far I've tried:
1) Following ATI's instruction video, I tried resetting it, which didn't do anything at all. It didn't even reset the timer.
2) Simply turning it off and back on. Although it did reset the timer, it again did nothing for me. In fact, it now starts ramping up all lights for about half an hour, then shuts off and starts ramping up again. I have now shut it off completely as my fish are freaking out.
3) Tried reloading the schedule from the light studio app. You guessed it: didn't work. This was actually the first thing I tried. I get the following error every time I connect the dongle to the light:

Light studio then automatically closes.
4) Tried uninstalling and installing the light studio app. Again doesn't solve anything.

I replaced the 4 pin connector end when I got it 6 months ago. It's second hand and one of the pins broke off. Since I haven't had any problems back then, I can't imagine being it the connector that's faulty or something. I even rewired all the wires just to be sure.

Any ideas what's going on?

Hmmm... As I'm posting this I found a picture from when I replaced the 4 pin connector. The old one was missing one of the pins and I actually got the exact same error message. That error message was solved when I replaced the 4 pin connector.

However, my current connector has all 4 pins and looks absolutely fine. Haven't used it a whole lot either since I replaced it.
