I just tested the ro water and it was 7 from 287 from tap water. After di filter its goes down to 0 to1, back n forth. So am pretty sure the ro membrane and di resin is still good.
thats a 97.6% rejection rate so your membrane is still fine.

A properly working di resin with effluent at 0 ppm tds should not let through 35 ppm of silicate. While silicate is only a concern if diatoms are an issue, I’d consider adding another mixed bed di after the one that purportedly letting through silicate.

Thanks Randy for your response, my tds reading is 0 and 0 when ive sent the rodi water sample to ati icp. Am just confused if my rodi water really has 34000 of silicon. I do have little bit of cyano on the sand bed, nothing serious so should i be concerned about changing my color changing di resin, color is still good?
