My First ICP test on the new system is done, results looks good. I would say a few of the numbers are off like po3 (NYOS shows me 5ppm), cal (red sea shows 425-450), salinity (Milwaukee shows 34ppm).

Chrome i'm unsure about, all equipment is new. Less than 5 months old and has recently all been cleaned, i didn't notice any rust. Not sure about the action to take on this, maybe i'll do another ICP test in 3 months. By then the tank will have had another 12 water changes. i use HW Marinemix salt.

Iodine i should dose, cheato would benefit, would also need a test kit for it.

I had high chrome, vanadium and zinc with my first test. I took a magnet to my sandbed and found some rust flakes and pieces. It was "live" sand so I guess it was something they picked up or their piping/pumps are rusting.

What brand sand was it?

Nature’s Ocean Fiji Pink. I know it came from there because I used dry rock and all new equipment. Had I rinsed it and checked before hand I would have been fine. Luckily they have these tests and I found it before I ever added a coral.
