Hello every one.
As I am putting together a new tank I also have new gear to set up.
would love some input from those who have the same equiptment.
Tank is 48x24x16 deep blue frag tank.:xd:

I have a ATI 48inch 6 bulb t5 light fixture and two 48 inch reef brite LEDs.
I plan on attaching the reefbrite's on both sides of the ati fixture.

to attach the Reefbrite's to the ATI I am going to do what a fellow member did using stainless steal hex screw but not sure what mounting brackets to use.
any thoughts or advise doing this.

Those of you using a similar set up please share your lighting schedule ?

I want to hook up the fixture from the ceiling.

How far off the water line should my fixture be?

I have the stock ati ceiling hanging kit but would love for the hanging kit to be adjustable.
Any suggestions?

Thanks :yo:

The stock ATI kit is adjustable. I move mine up and down all the time.

Height above the water technically depends on PAR readings. You should get a PAR meter to be 100% sure. I put mine about 5" above the water.

Thanks reeferbob .
What is your light schedule?

I have only a few corals all mushrooms and a 4 light 80 watt ATI fixture. The two blue plus come on at 9:00am, the coral plus and purple at 10:00am and off at 5:00pm and the two blues off at 8:00pm.

Well my tank will be fully stocked with sps that I'm transferring from my old tank. ,
Anybody else ?

I'm not impressed with the purple + bulb and will probably never use them again. I prefer having a coral + in its place.

i thought the ati's already had a hole drilled for that? it's simple installing those reef brites.

Can't remember what my lighting schedule is,

I can send you a picture with measurements when I get home if you haven't figured it out by then
