Anyone know how to resurface the ATI reflectors? I have a sun power 6x54w fixture, I took it out to clean up and notice my reflector has a lot off spots that I just cannot remove. Any siggestion to clean or remove spot?

ATI reflectors have a top coating of silver so you clean them just like you would jewelry. You can buy some silver polish and start cleaning.

gus6464 is correct, this material is called Miro Silver and has a very VERY thin layer of silver. I would recommend trying some something non abrasive to ensure you do not remove the thin layer. Maybe something like Tarn-x?

More than likely however, the discoloration you see is due to the lack of silver and no amount of polishing is going to bring it back. We do sell replacements if you decide you need to take that step.

On the topic. Is it better to replace these then attempt to clean.

Also the 2 middle channels are not working. Replaced the tombstones and looked fine. Maybe it’s contact isn’t solid. But can’t be anything father down the line like the ballast correct?

I would absolutely replace those. You could probably run half the lamps and get the same output vs all the lamps with those reflectors. Those look original in a fixture that hasn't been sold for over half a decade :)

And still the best t5 fixture ever made :)

I agree! Its too bad the demand for it with the SunPower available is so small it doesn't justify carrying inventory.

I would guess with new reflectors and a good cleaning your fixture will look nearly new again given how tough the housing is.

Yeah that's what I did with mine. I found an old super beat up unit locally that was rusted with bad reflectors and dead ballasts.

The shell was stripped down with rust sanded off and then a powdercoat applied. I replaced all of the wiring, all the ballasts, reflectors, even the power cables.

Does anyone know how these are wired. From the left, the to end channels look wired alone. 3/5 are linked together and 4/6 are linked.
Now I can’t get the to middle channels and seem to all have a 2 bulb pair. If it’s missing a bulb it won’t burn that channel.

When the lights powered 3 and 6 are the dimmer channels. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The picture shows what I mean with wiring
EDIT: has new tombstones
