My ATI fixtures are up, and I am having a problem with safe mode. In my fish room, which gets a little warm. The fans seem to be functioning fine.

Is there a way to just turn safe mode off? I know it gets a little warm, but that’s is okay for now. I really don’t want to have to turn it on manually every day. On auto it will just ramp the light way down.

I can’t help with the specific question but I can bump the thread to see if we can get you some attention

How did they help? And what was their suggestions? Thanks curious
Same. I’m curious on the resolution.

I leave my canopy open or else my T5 fixtures show 44C. I’d prefer to keep my canopy closed (I use fans and I have vent holes on the top but still gets hot unless I open the doors).

What about drilling holes for 120mm pc fans on a thermostat, have them sucking or pushing air.. thats how I cool my lights they kick on throughout the day

This is what my long term fix will be. Since I have a fish room ambient temps get warm. Plan to make a PVC fitted run to outside the fish room and use a fan to suck cool air over the intake fans on the fixture.

short term fix is to raise SOLL temp setting. It will allow for a higher temp before safe mode. This is at the expense of the ballasts, and could cause failure. Also believe it voids any warranty on the fixture.

I use a dehumidifier and a window ac for my fish room but the t5's still get warm but the 120mm fans do allot of heavy lifting, with a temperature sensor above the lights.

This is how I have the fans setup. Above there are many holes created for ventilation.
