I sell used equipments every now and then too but they usually go for around 40 percent of what I paid for and sometimes, some items they are free.

Because LED are so popular now. very few people are willing to spend more than $400 on T5 lights any more not to mention used light. T5 bubls are expensive to replace. I am sure that is the reason why you opted for LED

I think a lot of people might be apprehensive to make offers because they might offend you. I know what I would like to pay, but it's a very small number compared to what you were hoping for.

Try and return it or hold off. Dont sell this to anyone for $400.00 I tell you what, I would toss it in a corner of my basement till I needed it or found a "Friend" who deserved it before I let a $1000.00 light thats only 4 weeks old sell for $400.00 Hang in there man, it will sell, and its a whole lot of proven lighting right there, I would buy it if I was in the market for new lights, and I would pay the $800 or so your asking. $400 or Free? This light is still NEW at 4 weeks old. Thats an insult to this poor guy.

No ofence hddtran, but 2 AI LED Modules will not get you even close to the light this thing is putting out. This thing can light a 6 ft 300 gallon sps tank. 2 AI units will light a 3rd of that same tank, I know because I have that tank. Good luck with the sale, It will sell, you just gotta hang in there.

GREAT advice....I would hold out and get you $$$ you want.

FWIW....I just got a 24" ATI PM for my 60gl Cube and could not be happier. I will wait a couple of years for LED's to prove themselves long term IMHO.
