ATI Sunpower 6x39 watt info?

I getting ready to hang a ATI 6X39 watt fixture over my 57 rimless setup. I'm currently running a ATI 6X24 watt fixture on my 3' tank. Most of the high light sps are in the middle of the tank 10-12" under the water line. My chalice and lps are further out from the center of the tank.
How high off the water should I run this light?
How long should I run the dusk/dawn (2 bulbs )
How long should I run the daylight (4bulbs)

Bump? Any info is greatly appreciated. I had my 6x24 ATI fixture running 5-6" off the water for reference.

As of now I'm running at 9" above the water level. I might try to get it down to 7"-8" and that will most likely be as low as I can run it.

I'm running 6.5 full power and 9 hours dusk to dawn with my reef brite strip on for a extra two hours at the end on the dusk to dawn cycle.

That all sounds about right. You want to bring em down far enough for intense light, but not enough to start cutting off the edges of the tank. I run dusk leds 2 hours before and 2 hours after white lights.

What's your favorite 6 bulb combos ?

I have a 6x54w ATI sunpower over my 90 mixed reef. I just ordered new bulbs and reflectors. I still mess with the height off the water but currently I run my light about 10" off of the water (8" off the rim of my tank.)

My new bulb combo is:

ATI Blue +
ATI Blue +
ATI Coral + (used to be GE 6500k)
ATI Blue +
ATI Blue+
ATI Purple + (used to be Fiji Purple)

Photo period: (still messing with times after 4+ years)
My 48" Reef Brite Blue LED strip --- 9:30am-10:30pm
T5 actinic --- 11:00am-9:30pm
T5 daylights --- 1:00am - 7:00pm

The Par shouldn't be that much off of your 24". The only difference will be more coverage over what was your lower light areas. You may want to start off about 10" above the water line then drop it an inch a week until about 6" off the water.

Bump this I'm at 7" and I think I may need to bring it up to 9"-10". So what's the best height? My tank is 20" deep.

I would think higher the better man. Won't know for sure unless you check with a meter. If it means anything I am only using six of the eight bulbs with mine on my 93 right now along with the reefbrite strip and it is 30" deep. Things are coloring up a lot since I was having the paling problems.

Oh and mine is 9" off the water.

Like I said, I run mine 10" off of my water and I feel it's just right.

Looks good. I like the heavy duty mounting bracket on the ceiling. I would love to see some current up to date pics.

Thanks! I just rounded and routed a 1"x4" piece of oak and finished it to match the stand. I didn't want to trust drywall hangers to hold my light.

Here is a couple I was able to grab before the lights shut off. I just changed my bulbs a week ago so the light is a little higher up to acclimate the bulbs. I'll be taking it down an inch a week until I'm back at 10".

Coral growth isn't super impressive in the 4 years I've had the tank due to me having a small crash about a year ago and redoing the rock scape.
