ATI sunpower fan issues

hey guys and gals,

Does anyone else have issue after issue with the fans in the ATI fixtures?

I noticed about 4 months that my fan was not working. Took it apart, cleaned it off and it worked fine. Well I noticed that it has stopped working again. Is this a normal issue with these fixtures? Will I need to keep replacing the fan?

Is there an upgrade I can do with a different fan that will last longer than 6 months?

Is it in a hood? What speed do you have it on? I've had mine for years without issue. But I just replaced two on a fixture I bought from a friend. The only concern with replacing it with a different model is that not all fans take lightly to the different speeds that the multi voltage power supply provides. Also brs did a video on the cooling, so I run mine at a very low speed (I think 4.5v).
